Estate 2004: la band
viene formata dal chitarrista JAN, che si allea con i compagni di
gruppo degli ZAP: il chitarrista W.B. e il batterista WIDIUS, reclutando
NJOLA alle tastiere e ALEX alla voce. Pubblicano quasi immediatamente
un EP autoprodotto, "Rock Ain't Dead!" che raccoglie esclusivamente
recensioni positive da web'zines e riviste. Senza un bassista vero
e proprio (e con Jan che temporaneamente si alterna tra chitarra
e basso) la promozione del disco non ha potuto avere luogo in modo
serio e costante e presto Alex e Njola non fanno più parte
della band per motivi personali. Estate 2005: con lo stravagante
DAVE alla voce e "IL"bassista FRANK, il gruppo inizia
a risalire dalla tomba in cui era stato forzato. Alternando l'attività
live alle sessioni di prova in cui emergono i primi spunti per quello
che diventerà il loro full-length "The Invisible Sandglass"
i SYBILLA riescono anche a partecipare alla trasmissione ROXY BAR,
alla corte di Red Ronnie, il 3 giugno 2006. Nel settembre 2006 riescono
finalmente a pubblicare il CD "The Invisible Sandglass"
e attualmente sono alla ricerca di un serio contratto discografico.
In un'epoca in cui TUTTO è stato ormai detto e fatto, i SYBILLA
sono il modo di fare ROCK del Nuovo Millennio. Un cocktail micidiale
composto da: Ruffiani ritornelli AOR Un riffing molto Heavy Sonorità
riconducibili alla migliore scuola Prog e Dark Ballads da togliere
il fiato Canzoni tipicamente Glam Rock che non fanno smettere di
dondolare il collo... Trasportate tutto nel 2006, con synth, samples
ed estrosità... Ecco a voi i SYBILLA!

Summer 2004: the band has been formed by Jan, who joined forces
with ZAP’s band-mates W.B. and Widius, alongside with keyboardist
Njola and singer Alex. They almost immediately released a self-produced
EP, “Rock Ain’t Dead!” that gained only positive
reviews from the web’zines and papers whom it has been sent
to. Without a proper bassist, they were unable to promote it and,
thus few gigs were played, soon Alex and Njola left SYBILLA for
personal reasons. Summer 2005; flamboyant vocalist Dave and rockin’
bassist Frank joined in and the band began rising from the grave...
While doing some concerts, they started penning songs for the album
“The Invisible Sandglass” and they also took time for
an appearance on the cult (at least in Italy) TV program “Roxy
Bar”, hosted by Red Ronnie in June 2006. In September 2006
they released their full-length “The Invisible Sandglass”
and they are currently looking for a serious record contract...
Everything has been said&done... SYBILLA are New Millenium’s
way to ROCK!!! A deadly cocktail composed of: Catchy AOR choruses
Great Heavy stuff Some Prog-ish and Dark-ish sounds Breath-taking
Ballads Pounding Glam Rock tunes... This is SYBILLA!
